Credit Suisse Group Internal Audit is a global function comprising 350 staff in various locations including London, Zurich, New York, Singapore, Pune, Raleigh, Wroclaw and Warsaw. Our presence in Poland continues to grow, with 40 staff based across Wroclaw and Warsaw. Internal Audit reports directly to the Audit Committee and supports Credit Suisse Group management through the conduct of financial, operational and information technology audits, playing a vital role in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls across all businesses within Credit Suisse Group. Internal Audit is seeking to expand its audit team of business and IT auditors at the Bank’s Wroclaw Business Delivery Centre (BDC), the second largest CSG office in the EMEA region (with over 4,500 employees). 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • The performance of on-site IT and integrated business-led audits of Wroclaw / Warsaw based functions, provision of remote audit services to other CS offices, as well as travel / support for audits of EMEA branches like Italy, Spain and Germany;

  • Assessment of the effectiveness of the Bank’s IT control environment, assessing compliance with laws, regulations and best practices, working with the business and IT management to identify commercial and practical solutions to mitigate identified risks;

  • Assistance with audit planning, including the performance of walk-throughs and the preparation of audit test procedures;

  • Documentation of assigned audit procedures, identification of issues, presentation of findings to management and preparation of audit reports; and

  • Development and provision of centralized audit services to the wider CSG Internal Audit department, including continuous risk monitoring of IT activities, and periodic analysis of IT performance and Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s)

You Offer

  • You hold at least Bachelor‘s degree in IT or a related discipline – Masters degree would be a plus

  • You have 2-4 years of experience in auditing, internal controlling or in an IT function with significant exposure to IT controls (such as 2nd and 3rd lines of support / software development / project manager function / test manager including creating testing scenarios) – ideally within banking or the financial sector

  • Preferably you hold an IT Audit certificate (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIA)

  • You present outstanding technical and analytical skills along with a control mind-set

  • You are familiar with IT controls, technical environments and IT trends

  • You are a highly motivated professional communicating fluently in English and you feel confident building and maintaining relations with various levels of stakeholders globally

  • You are willing and able to travel to other Credit Suisse locations (approximately 10% of your working time; mostly in Europe)

  • You hold a university degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance

  • You have between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in controlling, reporting, planning and analysis

  • You have the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to deliver on strict deadlines on time

  • You possess excellent analytical skills and solid attention to details

  • You have flair for data, numbers and figures

  • You have very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Essbase or PeopleSoft is an advantage

  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus

  • You have ability to show initiative and to drive and implement change

  • You are flexible and you have service oriented approach

  • You are a self-starter, motivated for professional development

  • You seamlessly work as part of a team and independently
