A little bit about the role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for the initial stages of the sales pipeline. You will be working exclusively in the IT industry on behalf of clients such as Lexmark, Veritas, Mitel…..to name a few.
Your position will involve:
- Connect with local business to qualify marketing leads. No direct sales involved, you will be looking for key information to pass to a sales team.
- Providing reports to the sales team to follow up with
- Asking the right questions to get a understanding of what products and services are required
- Work on a variety of marketing campaigns which allow you to get exposure to a variety of companies and systems.
- Basic Salary with Bonus and possible commission structure campaign (not guaranteed)
This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to step into their first professional role. You will have ongoing training, the ability to join the fast track management programme and learn the fundamentals of a sales environment ( without the pressure of actually selling).
